An example of Digital Central with no cameras installed
The Magnia SG20 Digital Central site can manage up to four cameras. Toshiba has
verified the use of Axis
®
2100 cameras, and the Axis
®
2400 Video Server.
The Axis 2100 cameras are directly connected to the Magnia SG20 using standard
Ethernet cable connected to the Magnia SG20 built-in switch.
The Axis 2400 Video Server is used to connect many standard coaxial cameras to the
Magnia SG20 by converting the signal from analog to digital for communication over a
standard Ethernet cable to the Magnia SG20 built-in switch.
Both Axis camera systems are similar to use and their setup is covered in this chapter.
