The message "The connection to the server is not
completed" appears, the connection is cut off
The settings of the "Dial-up network" are not correct.
Please confirm the settings in the following order:
1. Click
Start
,
Settings
,
Dial-up Networking
,
xx
(connection name)
.
The Connection screen appears.
2. Click on the
Properties
button.
The
xx
screen appears.
3. In the
Network
tab, verify that
TCP/ IP Settings
is checked in
Network Protocols you can use
.
If you only use TCP/ IP connection for your Internet connection, please
remove the mark (uncheck) from
NetBEUI
and
IPX/ SPX
Exchange
.
4. Click on the
OK
button
Shortly after Connecting the message "The computer of
the dial destination does not respond" appears.
The telephone number is not set correctly.
Please verify the following points:

1. Click
Start

Settings
,
Dial-up Networking
,
xx (connection
name)
.
The Connection screen appears.
2. Click on the
Properties
button.
The
xx (connection name)
screen appears.
3. In the
General
tab, verify that the Telephone number is correct
4. Click on the
OK
button
5. Setting of the telephone number in
Dialling Properties
6. Open the
Control Panel
and double click on
Telephony
.
The
Dialling Properties
screen appears.
7. Verify the following points:
Is the area code of the transmission origin correct?
If you use a mobile phone / PHS, please set the area code to 0000 or
another number that is not actually used as an area code.
Are there any wrong numbers in the number of the outside line
transmission?
8. Click on the
OK
button.
