PWA-DWNLD-350-JIG

[A] Update procedure

Important:

• Turn OFF the power before installing and removing the download jig.
• Do not turn OFF the power during the update. The data could be damaged and not be oper-

ated properly.

• Ensure that the firmware to be updated is for the intended model.
• If the firmware for e-STUDIO166/206 is updated on e-STUDIO163/203 by mistake, a C94

error message appears when the power is turned OFF and then back ON after the update.
Remember that no error message appears when the firmware for e-STUDIO163/203 is
updated on e-STUDIO166/206 by mistake.

(1) Write the data to the download jig.

P. 6-6 "6.1.2 Writing the data to the download jig (PWA-DWNLD-350-JIG)"

(2) Turn OFF the power of the equipment.

(3) Remove the rear cover.
