Correspondingly, you may change the password for each user.
For the administrator of the system network,
the default user name is
admin
and the
password is
99admin11
.
Later, you may change this password using the
web configuration page, as described in the
paragraph about Password.
For security reasons, it is strongly
recommended to change as soon as
possible the default password with one of
your own choice. Also, you should NOT
mark in your browser the checkbox
“Remember my password”.
The log-in name is shown in the “Remote User” field, below the “Location” information:
The Administrator “admin” has more rights, access to additional settings, which a normal user does not
require (advanced routing configurations and settings for drivers).
If you type a different user name, or if you enter an
incorrect password more than three times in a row, you
will get the error message:
“401 Unauthorized” !
Connect again and be careful to enter the correct name
and password.
Following successful log-in, the main administration page for the Topex BYTTON router should be shown
on screen.
