Audio Inputs
The TANDBERG 8000 Codec has a total of six audio inputs, three microphone audio inputs and
three line level inputs.
General:
•
The input gains on all six inputs are independently adjustable.
•
All six inputs can be independently enabled or disabled.
•
By default, all inputs are enabled, ready to be connected with an audio source.
•
All audio input signals are mixed together if enabled.
•
Inputs that are disabled will be muted automatically.
•
When selecting ‘Restore Defaults’, all audio settings will be set to factory-programmed values.
•
The default settings are correct for Audio Technica AT841-R microphone (Mic in 1-3) and
for most consumer electronics (CD-players, cassette recorders, VCRs, etc., Audio in 4-6).
•
After installation, audio input level settings should remain unchanged.
•
When storing presets, the selected audio settings are stored together with the video
inputs/camera positions.
