Flexible Audio Features

The TANDBERG 8000 has a

flexible integrated audio system

, which consists of 6 audio

inputs where any number of audio inputs can be active at the same time.

When storing

presets

, all audio settings will be stored together with the selected video

source/camera position.

The TANDBERG 8000 has

 lip synchronization

 for audio.

Intelligent Audio Mixing:

Through adaptive weighting, the system establishes one

microphone as active, automatically determined by the user who is speaking. This feature
prevents sounds from inactive microphones or other audio sources from being picked up and
eliminates distracting background noise. Intelligent Audio Mixing leverages the capabilities
of the four separate acoustic echo cancellers.

Audio Level Meters.

Measures and displays the audio input level for each audio source

independently, providing an on-screen visual aid to ensure optimum audio performance and
simplifying installation. ‘Centre point mark’- or slightly below- is the preferred value for best
performance.

40 Additional attenuation is possible on Audio Output 1 by using the remote volume control setting.
