5.1
Multi-language Options
The TANDBERG 8000 supports multiple languages for its on screen menus. The user can select
between the following languages

Directory
The TANDBERG 8000 can store up to 516 numbers in the directory.
•
100 in the local dir 16 for MultiSite entries
•
400 in the global directory (stored in codec’s file system)
The global directory can only be edited through the file system (by using ftp). Once the
global directory file is stored on the codec (ftp://
codecIPaddress
/user/globdir.prm), these
numbers will appear on the normal directory menu.
Note: The Global Directory numbers may not be edited via the menu nor added into the
MultiSite directory.
5.2.1
MultiSite Entries
For easy set-up of regular MultiSite meetings, the system has 16 MultiSite entries. One needs to
insert the numbers into the local directory first, then put them into a MultiSite entry. When a
MultiSite entry is selected and the
connect
button is pressed, the system will set up calls to all
the sites for that particular MultiSite entry.
