TANDBERG 8000 has an
Intelligent VGA <-> S-Video switching device
connected to
Dataport 1 to utilize the local dual monitor. It will switch the to VGA cable (thus SVGA
resolution on dual monitor) when PC is selected and S-Video cable (xCIF resolution on
dual monitor) when e.g. Main Camera is selected (ref. ch. 4.3.2).
Furthermore, whenever the TANDBERG 8000 system receives a video stream /
presentation in XGA resolution, the switching device will switch to VGA output. The
presentation will then be displayed on the dual monitor. This is applicable to receiving
XGA resolution on the main or the duo video stream.
