To protect the laser diode and the TEC element the maximum possible output
currents of the module can be limited. Three limit values are used: hardware limit I

, for the laser diode current is set with the potentiometer
marked I

at the front panel of the ITC8.

The value is displayed continually in the channel menu of the module so you can
watch it during adjustment:
