Disinfection Procedures

For Cell Locker cleaning and disinfection see separate Cell Locker operating instructions in the

Appendix



The operator must prepare hygiene regulations for the disinfection of the device in accordance with the
application of the device.



The following disinfection procedures are compatible with the device:

Wipe/spray Disinfection:

The wipe/spray disinfection is used as the standardized manual disinfection procedure for the device
and for all accessories.

The Steri-Run sterilization routine uses an automated program cycle to sterilize the complete
workspace including the shelf system and the sensors.

Preparing for Sterilization / Steri-Run

1. Remove all cultures from the workspace and store them in a safe place.

2. Obtain a 3 l beaker or flask to collect the water.

3. Place the open end of the drain hose into the collecting vessel and lock the quick connect drain

hose valve safely into the drain port.

4. The water reservoir starts draining.

5. Allow the water reservoir to drain completely into the collecting vessel.

6. Wipe up residual water with a cloth.

7. Pull the airbox (1/

) out of its seat on the water reservoir cover panel and remove it.

) out of the airbox (1/
