Error
Code Problem Probable Remedy
E-27 Data Transfer Error There is a problem in transferring
data from the datalogger to a printer
or computer.
1. Press any key to acknowledge
the error.
2. Check to make sure the printer or
other device is securely plugged
into the RS232 port on the meter.
3. Check to make sure your printer
or computer is on and ready to
receive information from
the meter.
4. Check your cable to make sure it
matches the pin configuration of
the meter. Use Thermo Orion Cat.
No. 0ACBL0 for IBM PC or
compatible devices.
E-28 Incremental The concentration of the unknown
Techniques cannot be calculated. This can occur
(920Aplus only) during both single and double
incremental techniques.
1. Press any key to acknowledge
the error.
2. The millivolt differences may
not be great enough to permit
calculation of the unknown.
Increase standard concentration
used or dilute the sample.
3. The concentration of the
unknown is calculated to be
less than 0.0001.
a. If unknown has been diluted use a
fresh aliquot of undilited unknown
or one that is not so dilute.
b. Use different unit of measurement,
for example use ppm instead
of M.
