4. Safety Instructions
In case of any damages which are caused due to the failure to observe these
operating instructions, the guarantee will expire. We do not assume liability for
resulting damages!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper use or the failure to observe the safety instructions. The guarantee will
expire in any such case.
Dear customer, the following safety and danger notes are not only intended for the
protection of the product, but also for the protection of your health. Carefully read the
following topics:
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible
because of safety and approval reasons (CE). Moreover, the guarantee will expire.
• The product is not a toy and therefore not intended for children. Children cannot see
the dangers arising from the use of electrical devices.
Be especially careful if children are around. They might try to put objects into the device
through apertures of the housing. There is danger of a life-threatening electric shock!
• The product is intended for use in dry indoor rooms only. It must not get damp or wet.
There is not only danger of the product being destroyed, but also lethal danger due to
an electric shock!
• The mains unit complies with safety class 1. As voltage source, use a proper mains
socket (with protective conductor) of the public power supply system only.
The mains unit is equipped with an automatic recognition of the mains voltage of 115
or 230 V~, 50/60Hz. Thus, incorrect setting of the existing mains voltage is prevented.
