11. Troubleshooting
With the ATX mains unit, you have purchased a product which has been designed using state-of-
the-art technology and which is safe to operate. Nevertheless, problems or failures might occur.
Please observe all safety instructions contained in this operating manual!

Is the ATX mains unit switched on?
Is the mains cable correctly connected on both sides?
Is the mains socket fully functional?
Are all connections of the components inside the computer
correct (e.g. ATX connector, 4-pin ATX 12V connector)?
If the hard disk cable is twisted, the computer might not
start due to a short-circuit and the ATX mains unit does not
start.
Some mainboards do not start, if the CPU fan does not run
or runs too slowly (e.g. CPU fan with temperature sensor
or with low speed for decreased noise).
Computer does not start when
mains unit is switched on
When switching on the ATX mains unit (by means of the
mains switch on the rear side of the ATX mains unit), only
the standby voltage is present at the mainboard.
Only by briefly pressing the Power key at the front of the
computer housing the ATX mains unit is switched on
(provided that the Power key is connected to the respective
connection of your mainboard).
Therefore, check the Power key for correct connection
with the mainboard.
