Left crankcase cover inspection

 

Remove 2 bolts to remove left crankcase cover 

bearing setting plate. 

 

 

2 bolts

 

 
 

 

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

9 bolts

 

 

 

Check bearing on left crankcase cover. 

Rotate bearing

s inner ring with fingers. 

Check if bearings can be turned in smooth and 

silent, and also check if bearing outer ring is 

mounted on cover tightly. 

If bearing rotation is uneven, noising, or loose
