Figure 2. DIVISI IP address in Commander.
The last two units are main ECMG and spare ECMG (backup
ECMG). If only one ECMG is used then user should use the
main ECMG IP also for the Spare_ECMG. Valid values for
these settings are 0.0.0.0-255.255.255.255.
The <SETTINGS>-section defines common properties.
Redundancy:off
turns the whole functionality
momentarily off (valid values on/off) and respectively activates
the function when defined on.
ECMG_Trigger:on
determines that main & spare ECMGs
has to be checked if they are online. This will check only that
the server answers to ping. This will not check if the actual
ECMG is operational. ECMGs can be checked by the ECMG
redundancy functionality in brilscs.
ATM error:
defines the sensitivity of the ATM signal
missing/errors trigger. When the ATM network has sufficient
capacity and is in normal condition 0 should be just fine. When
the system is configured for the first time (or the system is
altered) user should check the logs from time to time that this
setting is not too sensitive.
Redundancy functionality can also generate a lot of debug
information (
DEBUG:1
). Mostly there is no use for the end
user to read these outputs. In case of problems these might help
the customer support to find out what is wrong in the system.
This has to be disabled when the system is up and running.
For some special purposes the user can define a start up delay
for BRILLANTE. In other cases this should be left to 10
seconds.
Lowering
Execute interval
reduces backup trigger
delays. 10 seconds should be just fine for all purposes. User has
to keep in mind that reducing this setting might affect the
