BRILLANTE 1+1 backup in brief

Configuration File
BRILLANTE 1+1 backup utility is configured by configuration
file named as
startup.bril.conf
which is located on
/teleste/etc/.
Configuration file is a simple text file that is
quite strict about how things are expressed. It is also case-
sensitive. This is why user should always edit a ready-made
configuration file instead of writing one from scratch. User can
also use the configurator-script (
cfgrtr.sh
) to get things done.
This will prevent many odd error situations. The configuration
file has to be the same on both main & backup BRILLANTEs.
Below you can see an example configuration.

The <BRILLANTE> </BRILLANTE> delimited field contains
the IP addresses of the devices needed in a standard
BRILLANTE 1+1 backup configuration. The first IP is the eth1
(in Linux and marked as 2 in the back panel) of the
BRILLANTE (main unit) that is used on normal condition.
Then there is the eth1 of backup unit. Divisi’s IP can be
obtained from the Commander as shown in figure 2. You’ll
have to connect to the VIVACE/PRESTO using the remote/IP
gateway connection. VIVACE/PRESTO has to be also the bus
master on the DVX bus.
