To change
CONFIG.PS
to specify different timeouts, substitute
new values for
0
and
40
in the
JobTimeOut
and
WaitTimeOut
lines. Permitted timeout values are as follows:

JobTimeOut
: 0 to 999
■
WaitTimeOut
: 0, or 15 to 999
■
To specify no timeout, use
0
In the following example, the timeouts are set to their
default values.

Use the DOS
COPY
command to send
CONFIG.PS
to the printer.
If the printer is connected to a parallel (LPT) port, enter the
following command:
COPY CONFIG.PS LPT
X
:
where
X
is the number of the parallel port. If the printer is
connected to a serial (COM) port, enter the following command:
COPY CONFIG.PS COM
X
:
where
X
is the number of the serial port.
