Power-On/Initial Conditions
When powered on, the PFG 51 05/5505 mi

RAM error is found, the mi

c
tionality of the other instrument hard
ware. When the self test is finished, the instrument
enters the lo

The GPIB address and termination are fa

parameters

The SRQ line on the GPIB is also asse

the GPIB address is set to 31 (ignore GPIB

If a ROM or RAM error is found, an error

ode is
displayed in the front-panel display. The instrument
will not respond to input from the front panel or the
GPIB interfa

e. Internal errors dete
c
ted after the ROM
and RAM tests have passed will be repo

the front panel and the GPIB. The instrument will
respond to input and attempt to fun

the internal error. An error
c
ode may be removed
from the display by pressing the INST ID key, by

PARAMETER KEYS
The PARAMETER keys are used to sele

parameter; and to
c

measure using the DATA keypad. The PARAMETER
keys are mutually ex
