4. Press Save To Selected File (side) to complete the operation.
To save to a unique, auto-numbering file, select the “wild card” file
TEK?????.GRP when doing step 3, above.
NOTE
. Upon power on, the logic scope creates this special purpose file for
storing groups. Selecting this file and pressing Save To Selected File stores the
group in a uniquely named file on the disk. For instance, the logic scope saves
the first group you save to the file TEK00001.GRP, the second to
TEK00002.GRP, and so on.
To save a waveform group over an existing waveform file, select the existing
filename in step 3, above. The original contents of the overwritten file become
lost.
To save a group by overwriting an existing file, select the existing filename in
step 3, above. The original contents of the existing file becomes lost.
You will not be able to overwrite the file if Overwrite Lock is turned on (error
message will display). To turn overwrite lock off do the following steps:
1. Press CLEAR MENU if the overwrite lock message displayed. Press File
Utilities in the Save/Recall Waveform menu.
