Set-up instructions

Spacing between row units

These planters leave the factory with a minimum row spacing according to the requested

number of row units, allowing a possibility of other spacings if the crop needs it.

Positioning the row units in the frame

Even number of row

units:

Set the frame center

and measure half of a

spacing to the right and

half to the left, placing on

these points the first two

row units; from these rows,

set the other ones with one

spacing to each side.

Odd number of row

units:

Place one row unit in

the frame center and set

the other ones with the

desired spacing.

NOTE

•

For the PST DUO FLEX 4880, 5340 and 6850 models with a spacing of 500

mm, the first row unit in the left side should always be a long one.

•

For other settings, the first row in the left side will always be a short one,

whether the planter has an even or odd number of row units. The right and

left hand side indication are made observing the equipment from the rear.

•

Long seed row unit: Left fertilizer plate; right seed plate.

•

Short seed row unit: Left seed plate; right fertilizer plate.

• Super long seed row unit: Always positioned on the frame articulation

side.

•

Either for an even or odd number of row units, the first row unit on

the left side will always be a short one.

IMPORTANT

• When the wheels are side by side, use a super long row unit.
