Safety information
DANGER!
The device is operated with electrical current.
Improper installation or improper repair attempts can
result in a risk of death due to electric shock.
WARNING!
Before wiring work is carried out on the device, the
system must be de-energised! Never touch the wires
or the connections of the device. Any wiring or inser-
tion of terminals when energised can destroy the
device and result in dangerous electric shocks.
Installation and commissioning must only be carried
out by specialist personnel with sufficient qualifica-
tions. Observe the applicable accident prevention
provisions, the relevant standards and regulations.
The device is not a replacement for the safety equip-
ment to be provided on-site.
The electrical installation and safeguarding are to comply with local
regulations.

With regard to stationary equipment, a cut-off device is to be
installed in order to disconnect such equipment from the mains in
accordance with the installation provisions as per EN 60335.

The spacing or the insulation vis-à-vis any heat sources is to be
selected in such a way that the permissible ambient temperature
is not exceeded during operation (

Connections between sensors, remote adjusters, remote controls,
data bus etc. and the device are to be installed in a separate loca-
tion from power lines.

With regard to inductive loads (contactors, relays, mixer drives
etc.), interference suppression by means of RC module coils can

During normal operation, the device is to be continuously energised
to ensure that it is ready for operation at any time. For this reason,
upstream mains switches are to be limited to emergency or main
switches, which are usually left in the operating position.
