At this point you can define the size and bass response of the rear speakers.
The following settings are possible for systems with one (6.1 mode) and two
(7.1 mode) rear speakers:
Off
no rear speakers present
1 small
1 small rear speaker
2 small
2 small rear speakers
1 full
1 large rear speaker
2 full
2 large rear speakers

 

 

If your system does not include rear speakers, the rear channels - if present -
are mixed down onto the left and right surround speakers; otherwise onto the
front speakers.
If you select the ‘none’ setting in the menu point 'Surround loudspeakers', the
rear speakers are automatically switched off.
To avoid the risk of accidentally setting senseless speaker arrangements, the
system does not allow you to select all combinations.
