2.7 Control and processing

section

•

Power supply 24V 0.5A DC (isolated from the

power stage)

•

Work environment temperature 0…40 °C

•

Watch-Dog

•

Communication via:
•  EtherCAT (Device Profile: Multidrive DSP-402)
•  CAN/CANopen  (Device  Profile:  Multidrive  DSP-

402)

• Ethernet

•

Firmware updating via field bus (Ethernet/HTTP,

Ethernet/TFTP, EtherCAT/FoE)

•

Possibility to set the movements separately for

each axis in terms of operating and start-up speed,

acceleration and deceleration, position target

•

Possibility to set the currents to be used separately

for each axis (nominal, boost and reduced)

•

Step fractionation setting from ½ step to 1/256

step independently for each motor (full step

optional)

•

Firmware (non-modifiable) for update

management; the firmware is called "Monitor"

•

Firmware (updatable) for the management of the

axes according to the protocol CiA DSP-402.

2.8 I/O section

•

16 digital inputs isolated from the power stage

and 24V power supply for the logic, 16 PNP 24Vdc

0.5A general purpose digital outputs which can be

managed as remote I/O

•

The outputs are optically isolated, thermally

protected and protected against short-circuits

•

Diagnostics of intervened protection as a result

of short-circuits. Outputs power supply separated

from that of the inputs and control section. The

digital outputs and inputs can be configured to

perform specific functions such as limit switch,

home, position capture, etc.
