3.2.7 EtherCAT Address Display /
Setting
CANOpen NodeId

Displays the EtherCAT node number used and allows
to modify it.
A CANopen network must not feature two different
devices connected together with the same node
number.
The node number must be above zero (1..127).
Default value: [

3.2.8 MAC Address Display
MAC Address
001163-xxxxxx
Displays the number of the MAC address of the Ethernet
port.
The MAC address is unique and different for each Quad
and can only be displayed.
3.2.9 Ethernet IP Address Display /
Setting
IP ADDRESS:
192.168. 1. 1
Displays the IP address number of the Ethernet port and
allows to modify it in 4 subsequent steps.
Default value: [

3.2.10 Ethernet Subnet MASK
Display / Setting
Subnet mask
255.255.255. 0
Displays the Subnet mask of the Ethernet port and
allows to modify it.
Default value: [
255.255.255.0
]
3.3 Saving the parameters
If one has edited the parameters and one presses
ESC to go up a level and go back to the main menu, one
is prompted whether to save the data permanently.

Using the arrows

one can choose between
the following saving options:
[NO]
The modified parameters are kept, but only
until the restart. They are therefore NOT saved in
the non-volatile memory of the drive.
[SAVE]
The modified parameters are saved in the
non-volatile memory of the drive, but will only be
used starting from the next restart.
[RESTORE]
The changes made are cancelled and
the parameters are recovered from the non-volatile
memory of the drive; in general, these parameters
will only be used starting from the next restart.
If one has selected
[SAVE]
and one presses Enter, the
following message will be displayed:

3.4 Alarm or fail messages
shown on the display
ETHERCAT INIT
ERROR .....
Indicates an initialisation error of the EtherCAT
peripherals; the negative number displayed specifies
the error more in detail.
ETHERCAT ERROR
WATCH-DOG EXPIRED
Indicates no communication on the network
EtherCAT.
*** ALARM! ***
* SAFETY STATE *
Indicates that the axes safety protection has been
activated, or an overtemperature error occurred. This
situation requires board reset.
