Procedure

3. Place the module in the proper rails.

4. Push gently on the module until the edge connector on the
module is firmly seated in the connector on the backplane.
□
5. Press on the tabs at the side of the module to secure it in
the multibus card cage.
□
6. Connect the appropriate cables to the module.
□
7. Slide the card retainers toward the center of the multibus
card cage until they are stopped by the screws.
□
8. Use the bladed screwdriver to tighten the screws on each of
the card retainers.
□
9. Install the clear polycarbonate shield onto the front of the
multibus card cage.
