PR26

Power Supply Removal

Purpose/Scope

This procedure explains how remove the power supply.

Parts

None.

Tools

•

Bladed screwdriver.

Safety Considerations

Procedure

□

1. Verify that the main power switch on the PEP is in the off 
position. Check the main power indicator to see if power is 
removed.

□

2. Remove the power supply plug from its socket on the PEP.

□

3. Label and remove all wires and cables from the power 
supply.

□

4. Use the bladed screwdriver to remove the two screws that 
secure the power supply bracket to the monitor mounting plat-
form (Fig 

PR26-1

).

□

5. There is a metal tab on the bottom of the power supply that 
sets into a slot on the monitor mounting platform. Lift up on 
the rear of the power supply to clear the tab and then slide the 
power supply out of the rear of the auxiliary terminal.

WARNING

1. There are exposed AC and DC connections inside the cabi-
net. These exposed electrical connections present a shock 
hazard that can cause injury or death.
