PR25

Multibus Card Cage Installation

Purpose/Scope

This procedure explains how to install the multibus card cage.

Parts

Tools

•

Phillips head screwdriver.

Safety Considerations

Procedure

□

1. Verify that the main power switch on the PEP is in the off
position. Check the main power indicator to see if power is
removed.

□

2. Slide the multibus card cage into the auxiliary terminal.

□

3. Support the front and rear of the multibus card cage while
using the Phillips head screwdriver to install the four screws
(Fig.

PR25-1

) to secure it to the auxiliary terminal.

□

4. Install the clear polycarbonate shield that covers the multi-
bus card cage.

□

5. Install all cables that were removed from the multibus card
cage.
