NetBackup 5220 hardware removal and replacement
Installing or replacing the RAID card and accessories

Installing the Battery Backup Unit (BBU)

Obtain the RAID controller card and Battery Backup Unit
(BBU).

Place the battery on the top of the RAID card.

Line up the three screw holes of the RAID card with those of the
battery.

Battery Backup Unit (BBU) screw holes on RAID controller card

Fasten the battery to the card but do not over tighten or over torque the screws.
