Peak Sound Level, the greatest instantaneous
value of a standard frequency weighted sound
pressure level within the elapsed measurement
time. It is measured with frequency weighting A, C
or Z and accordingly displayed as LApeak, LCpeak
or LZpeak.

Maximal value of the time-weighted sound pressure
level at the exponential RMS detector output within
the elapsed measurement time. The

result for
the 1 second period is equal to the Spl result. It is
measured with frequency weighting A, C or Z and
time weighting F, S, I and displayed as LAFmax,
LASmax, LCFmax, LCSmax etc.
