Advanced Processor Options
Access the submenu to make changes to the following settings.
CPU Speed
This is a display that indicates the speed of the installed processor.
Hyper-threading
This setting allows you to E n a b l e o r D i s a b l e t h e h y p e r - t h r e a d i n g
function. Hyper-threading results in increased CPU performance.
(Applicable for the XP systems.)
Set Maximum Extended CPUID=3
If enabled, this feature allows you to set the value of Maximum CPUID
Extended function to 3. The options are Enabled and Disabled .
I/O Device Configuration
Access the submenu to make changes to the following settings.
Serial Port A
This setting allows you to assign control of serial port A. The options
are Enabled (user defined), Disabled and Auto (BIOS or OS controlled).
Base I/O Address
Select the base I/O address for serial port A. The options are 3F8 ,
2F8, 3E8 and 2E8.
Interrupt
Select the IRQ (interrupt request) for serial port A. The options are
IRQ3 and IRQ4 .
