Serial ATA Port 0~ Port 5
This item displays the information of a SATA device installed on the SATA
port specifi ed by the user.

Port 0~ Port 5
Select Enabled to enable a SATA port specifi ed by the user. The options
are Disabled and Enabled .
Spin Up Device
On an edge detect from 0 to 1, set this item to allow the PCH to start
a COMRESET initialization to the device. The options are Enabled and
Disabled .
SATA Device Type
Use this item to specify if the SATA port specifi ed by the user should be
connected to a Solid State drive or a Hard Disk Drive. The options are
Hard Disk Drive and Solid State Drive.

sSATA Confi guration
When this submenu is selected, AMI BIOS automatically detects the presence
of the SATA devices that are supported by the PCH-sSATA controller and
displays the following items:
sSATA Controller
This item enables or disables the onboard SATA controller supported by the
Intel PCH-sSATA controller. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Confi gure sSATA as
Select IDE to confi gure an sSATA drive specifi ed by the user as an IDE drive.
Select AHCI to confi gure an sSATA drive specifi ed by the user as an AHCI
drive. Select RAID to confi gure an sSATA drive specifi ed by the user as a
RAID drive. The options are IDE, AHCI , and RAID.
