Use pipe joint compound or Teflon
®
tape on all pipe fittings before installing.
NOTE:
Ensure propane resistant compounds are used in propane applications, do not use pipe joint compounds
on flare fittings.

Retrieve the burner and hold the venturi tube above the orifice. Place the shutter adjusting rod in the slot of the
shutter arm

. Set the burner assembly into its position and secure the trapezoidal plate with
the two screws previously removed.
14.
Reinstall the baffle with the two baffle securing screws.
15.
Reassemble the remaining components.

Turn on gas supply and test for gas leaks

Relight the main burner. The lighting instructions can be found on the lighting label in the control compartment

. Verify proper burner ignition and operation

18.
Inspect the pilot system for proper flame. The pilot flame should engulf the flame sensor

).

Using a manometer, test the inlet and manifold gas pressures

)

NOTE:
Always test pressures with the valve regulator control at the highest setting.
Initialize the Remote Control System
After completing fireplace installation, initialize the remote control system before operating the fireplace.
1. Insert the three (3) provided AAA batteries into the battery bay in the remote control. Correctly align polarity (+/–).
2. Insert the (4) provided AA batteries into the receiver battery bay (behind the wall switch plate). Correctly align
polarity (+/–).
3. Position the wall switch receiver three-position slider switch in the REMOTE position.
4. On the remote control, press the ON button.
