valid, used, expired, and invalid manifold.
1. Insert a new (valid) manifold into the manifold
receptacle of the canister to be tested.
2. Fully rotate the manifold clockwise to lock the manifold
into the manifold receptacle.
3. Make sure all the inlet ports of the manifold are
closed.
4. Push the START SUCTION button (Figure 20).
Make sure suction starts. If not, see
Section 13
Troubleshooting.
5. Adjust the suction control dial of the canister to be
tested to the maximum suction level.
6. Verify the actual suction value displayed on the control
screen (Figure 13) changes and reaches a suction
level of at least 494 mm-Hg. If not, see
Section 13

7. Repeat this procedure to test the other canister.
8. Discard the manifold used for testing purposes.
