11 TAKING DELIVERY OF THE HEAT PUMP
11.1 Receiving
The heat pump is supplied on a pallet suitable to withstand the transport weight and is wrapped in protective
packaging. As soon as the unit is received, immediately check its integrity. All heat pumps are tested and will only be
released from our factory once it has passed all testing therefore the heat pump leaves our factory in perfect
condition.
Before accepting delivery, check the following:
•
The heat pump has not suffered from any transport damage.
•
All goods delivered match the delivery note supplied with the delivery.

In cases where there is visible damage, complete the following:
•
List the damage on the delivery note.
•
Inform our sales department within 7 working days.
•
Take photos showing the damage.
•
Supply a full written report, along with photos, for severe damages to the heat pump.
11.2 Safety Instructions
Observe the safety regulations in force concerning the equipment to use for unit handling and the operating
formalities to follow.
11.3 Handling
Before
handling the unit, check the weight of the unit, which is shown on the unit’s data plate and the supplied
installation, operating and maintenance manual. Make sure the heat pump is handled with care, avoiding any kind of
collision that could damage the operating parts within the heat pump.
It is strongly recommended that all protective packaging remains on the heat pump until it is positioned for
installation. Any damaged caused by the protective packaging being removed before installation will not be covered by
our manufacturer’s warranty.
11.4 Storing
DO NOT STACK THE HEAT PUMPS.
The heat pump must be stored in a dry place, protected from the sun, rain, sand or wind:
•
Maximum Temperature = 60c.
•
Minimum Temperature = -20c.
•
Humidity = 90%.
11.5 Removal of Packaging
We recommend that the complete removal of packaging should only be completed once the unit is in position to be
installed.
On removing, taking care not to damage the unit and check for any visible damage.
Get rid of all packaging material and send them to the appropriate recycling centres.
