Provided the split line length at the internal appliance is less than
the wall thickness, and the split line length to the external unit
is not more than 3 m, the split line can now be connected to the
internal appliance. Please note that in this case, further installation
will require at least two people.
10.3.4 Preparing the internal appliance - condensate drain line
When operating the wall mounted air conditioning appliance,
condensate is created, which has to be routed away via the
condensate drain line, for example into a drain or to the outside.
A condensate drain line must be connected to the condensate
drain. The condensate drain line must be routed away from the
appliance with a downward slope of at least 1%, so no water can
flow back.
The condensate drain line must not have any ventilation or any
upward slope in its run. Never fit a siphon at the end of it. The
condensate drain line must be thermally insulated and must run
into a drain or to the outside.
f
During commissioning, check whether condensate is draining
off, and whether the joint leaks.

1 Route the line with a downward slope
2 use a flexible hose with an internal diameter of 15 mm
3 Clearance of line aperture to the ground at least 50 mm
4 Never immerse the end of the line in water, otherwise there
is a risk of water escaping from the wall mounted air condi-
tioning appliance
5 Route the line without any upward slope, otherwise there is
a risk of water escaping from the wall mounted air condition-
ing appliance
6 Never route the line in loops (siphon formation), otherwise
there is a risk of water escaping from the wall mounted air
conditioning appliance
