- Ensure that the condensate drain line is sized correctly.
- Ensure that enough space remains for you to be able to re-
move and insert the filters without any problems.
- To prevent the remote control functioning incorrectly, ensure
that there are no lamps within an area of 1 m around the in-
ternal appliance. To prevent radio or television sets function-
ing incorrectly, ensure that the internal appliance is at least
1 m away.
- Ensure that the internal appliance and external unit are in-
stalled in such a way that the maximum lengths of the refrig-
erant lines between the two devices are not exceeded.
- Ensure that a separate power circuit is available to supply the
air conditioning system.

When installing the wall mounted air conditioning appliance, it is
recommended to first establish the position of the mounting plate,
and then to mount the internal appliance.
Observe the length of the suction and liquid lines at the appliance.
The pipes are sized in length for a direct wall outlet to the rear. For
particularly thick walls, such as in an old building, the pipework
may have to be extended before installation.
!
Risk of damage
The copper pipes for the refrigerant lines should only be
bent during installation. Copper pipes that are repeatedly
bent can leak or break.
10.3.3 Preparing the internal appliance - connecting electrical
cables
To keep installation simple, we recommend connecting the control
cable and power cable to the internal appliance before installing it.
f
Lie the internal appliance on the floor with the front facing
up.
f
Pivot the front flap up.
f
Open the flap to the electrical connection space. This is se-
cured with a Phillips screw.
f
Route the power cables from the rear into the appliance so
they protrude below the strain relief.
f
Connect the power cable according to the connection
diagram.
f
Route all cables through the strain relief.
