Demonstration of Simple Connection Test:
1 Start IPPtool and Input IP address of the telephone to be set in IP address field.
Shown as follows:
2 Click TELEPHONE SETTING. If the interface of telephone setting is displayed, the
telephone is connected to computer.
When debugging level is 0 debug 0 , telephone setting rather than IE setting
of IPPtool cannot be connected to the telephone.
3 You can click PHONE BOOK. If there is the telephone to be operates in the list of
phone book, the telephone is connected to computer.
4 You can also click START DEBUGGING. Working information of the connected
telephone will be displayed in debugging window. You can press keys of the
telephone to get faster response.
7.2 IPPtool Setting
1 Telephone Upgrade
To upgrade firmware of the telephone, click TELEPHONE UPGRADE and select the
file to be upgraded. If the telephone is connected to computer, the following image is
displayed:
“IPP Updating… Please Wait” is displayed on the screen. At this time, file to be
upgraded is forwarded to telephone. After forwarding, “IPP Updating… XX%” is
