3 PPPOE
PPPOE is the networking protocol specialized for ADSL, Cable Modem or some
Ethernet users. The connection is usually through virtual dial (In fact, we have
installed the dial software in the telephone.). PPPOE accounts and PPPOE
password (network parameters are distributed) are needed for such connection.

2 Audio Settings
Audio setting has 11 options:
1) Default frame
Set audio frame in every RTP and the value is set among 1 to 7.
2 Audio coding and decoding mode
Set audio coding and decoding mode of the telephone, including g7231, g729,
gsm610, g711u, g711a and auto.
3 g.723.1: high coding rate is used
Select audio rate of G.723.1. When audio coding and decoding mode is
chosen as G.723.1, audio communication has two rates, 5.3kbps and
6.3kbps. You can set the rate through this parameter. Parameter is set as 0
or 1. When parameter set as 1, coding rate is 6.3; when set as0, coding rate
is 5.3.
4 VAD
Set voice activity detection. The check box’s being ticked off means VAD is
used; while the check box’s being not ticked off means VAD is not used.
5 AGC
Set automatic gain control. The check box’s being ticked off means AGC is
used; while the check box’s being not ticked off means AGC is not used.
