6.4 Telnet Setting
Same to keyboard setting, while the operation is different (Please see page 11 for the
details.)
Demonstrations of Simple Setting Steps (change dynamically acquired IP to static
IP):
1 Enter Telnet setting interface;
2 Input set iptype 0 and then press ENTER;
3 Set the related ip, subnetmask, router, dns0, and dns1 with SET command;
4 Input get and parameter setting of the existing system is displayed;
5 Input write and save parameter setting, and then restart the telephone.

1 Simple Setting
1 Click START and then click OPERATE, input “telnet telephone IP address”, and
then press ENTER;
2 Input password and press ENTER to enter “IPP:\>”, IPP prompt;
3 Input GET and check parameter setting of the existing system;
4 Set parameter with SET command. The command is “IPP:\>set password 1234” if
normal password is changed to 1234.
5 Input WRITE and save the settings and then exit. rebooting… disconnected to
host computer is displayed
Restart the telephone to upgrade the settings.
2 Module Setting
1 Click START and then click OPERATE, input “cmd”, and then press ENTER to
enter command prompt;
2 Input “telnet telephone IP address”;
3 Input GET and check parameter setting of the existing system;
4 Set parameter with SET command according to requirements.
5 Input “store 0” and store the existing parameter to temporary store area;
The place with its serial number as 0 is temporary store area.
6 Make the modules of other parameters. Input “set” and then “store [1--4]”.
7 Input “load 0” and load the parameter whose place is 0 to the existing place.
Load the other related modules according to the relevant module number.
8 Input WRITE and save the settings and then exit. rebooting… disconnected to
host computer is displayed
Restart the telephone to upgrade the settings.
7. IPPtool Setting
IPPtool can be used for setting, upgrade, load and unload, debugging, ring update and
checking inner telephone list, etc, which cannot be realized by other three methods. For
professional engineers or people who have special requirements, it is a good choice.
7.1 Conditions of IPPtool Setting
To set the parameter with IPPtool, you need to ensure that computer and telephone are
in the same LAN and are connected. IPPtool can be used to test the connection.
