It is not necessary when a

AlphaNet license is used.
Create VoIP audio channels
In AlphaPro, select the AlphaCom exhange:

Cluster node programming
6.2.6
Cluster programming is an option for simplifying the programming
and updating of numbers in AlphaNet when operating with integrated
number series.
The exchanges can be given a
Cluster Node Number.
Nodes with the
same Cluster Node Number (1-255) are members of the same cluster.
