AlphaCom XE - Installation, Configuration & Operation

AlphaCom XE provides all current AlphaNet features available today,

including the enhanced features of LAN/WAN connection.

VoIP, digital and analog infrastructure support

AlphaNet works over any infrastructure, whether it is IP, digital or

analog.

SIP client interface

AlphaNet provides integration with GSM, analog, ISDN and DECT

telephones via SIP gateways. Most system functions are available

between the telephones and intercom stations.

The following procedure is required when configuring AlphaNet:

Insert AlphaNet license if VoIP AlphaNet should be used

●

Create all the exchanges in the AlphaNet

●

Create AlphaNet data routing

●

Create AlphaNet audio routes

●

Update the directory

●

Insert AlphaNet license

This must be done if VoIP AlphaNet should be used (see section 3.3).

Create all the exchanges in the AlphaNet

6.2.3

Define the exchanges in AlphaPro under

Network & Exchanges.

See

section 4.3 on how to create the exchanges.

In some cases, it is not desired to program all the exchanges

in the AlphaNet in the same AlphaPro database. In this case

you should add the exchange in the network but un-tick the

checkbox for ‘AlphaNet - Adm. Here’.
