Operation with a pool vacuum cleaner (Illustration 9)
■ The pool vacuum cleaner’s hose can be connected directly to the filter
system’s suction pipe. In doing so, the pool vacuum cleaner’s hose must be
completely filled with water.
■ The use of a skimmer with a strainer basket is recommended for filter systems
without pre-filters.
■ Please observe the pool vacuum cleaner’s operating instructions. To prevent
the filter from running dry and thus overheating, no air should be allowed to
enter the filter system.
■ Please select the “FILTERN” position on the valve head.
■ Alternatively, you can also select the “ENTLEEREN (empty)” position, for
example if algae forms in the pool. Dirty pool water will not then run back
into the pool, but will be directly channelled away via the waste pipe. When
selecting this setting, it is necessary to re-fill your pool to the correct level after
cleaning, if necessary.
