auswählen.
7) Im nächsten Fenster „Start Copying Files“ sind
alle Eingaben aufgelistet. Entweder mit „Next“
bestätigen oder mit „Back“ zurückspringen und
die Eingaben korrigieren.
8) Wurden die Eingaben mit „Next“ bestätigt, er-
scheint das Fenster „Welcome“ und alle DJ MP3-
Dateien werden auf Ihren Computer kopiert. Da-
nach öffnet sich das Fenster „Setup Complete“.
Das Auswahlfeld „Yes, Launch the program file“
anklicken, wenn das Programm „DJ MP3“ nach
dem Ende der Installation gestartet werden soll.
Mit „Finish“ die Installation beenden.
8.3 Bedienung des Kopierprogramms
1) Den CD-Player ausschalten und die Buchse USB
(31) über das beiliegende Anschlusskabel mit der
USB-Schnittstelle des Computers verbinden.
Den CD-Player wieder einschalten. Bei korrek-
tem Anschluss blinkt in der Textzeile (s) des ent-
sprechenden Displays (3) die Anzeige „PC LINK“.
2) Das Programm DJ MP3 durch Anklicken des Sym-
bols DJ MP3 starten. Das Bedienfeld „Music Sta-
tion“ erscheint (Abb. 12). Falls das Fenster „Please
insert SD card“ erscheint, eine SD-Karte in den
Kartenschlitz (30) stecken und „OK“ anklicken.
3) Eine neue SD-Karte muss zuerst formatiert wer-
den. Dazu die Schaltfläche „Format“ (K) an-
klicken. Beim Formatieren werden alle Daten auf
der Karte gelöscht.
4) Sind bereits MP3-Dateien auf der SD-Karte ge-
speichert, werden sie im Feld „SD Card“ (L) an-
gezeigt. Falls eine andere Karte verwendet wer-
den soll, nach dem Wechseln der Karte die
Schaltfläche „Refresh“ (G) anklicken, um einen
korrekten Programmablauf zu gewährleisten. Sol-
len Dateien von der SD-Karte gelöscht werden,
diese mit der Maus markieren und dann auf der
Tastatur die Taste „Entf“ („Del“) drücken.
5) Die zu kopierenden Dateien auswählen:
a) Im Feld für den Dateityp (D) die Endung der
Dateinamen auswählen, die angezeigt wer-
den sollen (Voreinstellung: *.mp3).
b) Im Feld für das Laufwerk (B) das Laufwerk
auswählen.
c) Im Feld für die Verzeichnisse (C) das Verzeich-
nis auswählen. Die Dateien im angewählten
Verzeichnis werden im Dateifeld (H) angezeigt.
d) Die gewünschten Dateien markieren und in
das Feld „File List“ (M) herüberziehen.
6) Die Schaltfläche „Download“ (N) anklicken, um
die Dateien im Feld „File List“ auf die SD-Karte zu
kopieren. In der Zeile für den Kopiervorgang (E)
wird der Ablauf dargestellt.
Die Statuszeile (F) zeigt die Gesamtspeicher-
kapazität der Karte im Feld „Total“ an (minus
5 MB, die systembedingt nicht zum Speichern
von MP3-Dateien zur Verfügung stehen) und die
noch freie Kapazität im Feld „Free“.
7) Informationen über das Programm DJ MP3 kön-
nen durch Anklicken der Schaltfläche „DJ MP3“
(A) aufgerufen werden und Hilfe zur Bedienung
über die Schaltfläche „Help“ (J).
8) Zum Beenden des Programms die Schaltfläche
„Exit“ (I) anklicken.
8) If all input data were confirmed with “Next”, the
“Welcome” window appears and all DJ MP3 files
are copied on your computer. Then the window
“Setup Complete” opens. Click the field “Yes,
Launch the program file” if the programme “DJ
MP3” is to be started at the end of the installation.
Terminate the installation with “Finish”.
8.3 Operation of the copy programme
1) Switch off the CD player and connect the jack
USB (31) via the supplied connection cable to the
USB interface of the computer. Switch the CD
player on again. With correct connection, in the
text line (s) of the corresponding display (3) “PC
LINK” starts flashing.
2) Start the programme DJ MP3 by clicking the
symbol DJ MP3. The operating field “Music Sta-
tion” appears (fig. 12). If the window “Please in-
sert SD card” appears, insert an SD card into the
card slot (30) and click “OK”.
3) A new SD card must be formatted first. For this
purpose, click the button “Format” (K). Format-
ting will delete all data on the card.
4) If MP3 files have already been memorized on the
SD card, they are indicated in the field “SD Card”
(L). If another card is to be used, click the button
“Refresh” (G) after replacing the card to ensure a
correct programme flow. To delete files from the
SD card, highlight them with the mouse, then
press the key “Del” on the keyboard.
5) Select the files to be copied:
a) In the field for the file type (D), select the
extension of the file name to be displayed
(presetting: *.mp3).
b) Select the drive in the field (B).
c) Select the folder in the field (C). The files in the
folder selected are displayed in the field (H).
d) Highlight the desired files and drag them to
the field “File List” (M).
6) Click the button “Download” (N) to copy the files
in the field “File List” on the SD card. The line for
the copying process (E) indicates the down-
loading progress.
The status line (F) indicates the total storage
capacity of the card in the field “Total” (minus
5 MB not available for storage of MP3 files due to
the system) and the available storage capacity in
the field “Free”.
7) Click the button “DJ MP3” (A) for information con-
cerning the programme DJ MP3 and click the
button “Help” (J) for help.
8) To terminate the programme, click the button
“Exit” (l).

Maintenance of the Unit
Protect the unit from dust, vibrations, direct sunlight,
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40 °C). For cleaning only use a dry, soft
cloth, never use water or chemicals.
Note concerning sound interruptions and read-
ing errors
Cigarette smoke easily penetrates through all open-
ings of the unit and also settles on the optics of the
laser sampling system. This deposit may cause read-
ing errors and sound interruptions. As cigarette
smoke cannot always be prevented (e. g. in disco-
thèques), the unit must then be cleaned by skilled
personnel. Please note that there is a charge on
cleaning in this case, even during the warranty period!

Pflege des Gerätes
Das Gerät vor Staub, Vibrationen, direktem Sonnen-
licht, Feuchtigkeit und Hitze schützen (zulässiger
Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C). Für die Reini-
gung nur ein weiches, trockenes Tuch verwenden,
auf keinen Fall Wasser oder Chemikalien.
Hinweis zu Tonaussetzern und Lesefehlern
Zigarettenrauch dringt leicht durch alle Öffnungen
des Gerätes und setzt sich auch auf der Optik des
Laser-Abtastsystems ab. Dieser Belag kann zu
Lesefehlern und Tonaussetzern führen. Da sich
Zigarettenrauch nicht immer vermeiden lässt (z. B.
in der Discothek), muss das Gerät dann in einer
Fachwerkstatt gereinigt werden. Diese Reinigung ist
kostenpflichtig, auch während der Garantiezeit!
