A different screen will appear on which you will see a Hardware Key serial number, a
Converter Serial and a phone number to contact SWI Customer Support. You will also see a
blank field labe
led “Activation Password”. If you already have your activation password,
enter that in now and press Inc Set or Abs Set.

If you do not already have the activation password, write down the Hardware Key and
Converter serial numbers shown on the screen and call SWI Customer Support. After taking
the serial numbers, SWI Customer Support will give you your password. Please note, this
option is not free. If you have not placed an order for the DXF Converter, you will need to
do so before we can give you the activation password.

After the password is entered, the DXF Converter is ready for use. Simply restart the
ProtoTRAK system so that it recognizes the new software. For the ProtoTRAK CNC on your
machine, do the shut down procedure and then turn the ProtoTRAK back on to allow it to
reboot. For a ProtoTRAK Offline, it will not be necessary to restart the computer. Simply
close the ProtoTRAK Offline application and then start it again.
