1-6-3. Ribbon (T) Motor Assembly/Ribbon (S) Motor Assembly

1.  Remove the top panel (C2) assembly. (Refer to Section 1-4-1.)
2.  Remove the side panel (L). (Refer to step 4 in Section 1-4-2.)
3.  Remove the ribbon drive assembly. (Refer to Section 1-6-2.)

4. Remove the snap ring (W2.3) and screw (BVTT3

6), then remove the stay (R) subassembly.

5. Remove the screw (BVTT3

6), then remove the SE-840 board.

6. Remove the two helical extension springs and two screws (BVTT3

6), then remove the ribbon

bracket retaining assembly.

7. Remove the snap ring (W2.3), then remove the pad holder (B) subassembly.
8. Remove the two screws (BVTT3

6), then remove the rewind motor bracket assembly.

9. Remove the two screws (PS3

4), then remove the ribbon (S) motor assembly.

10. Unsolder the two pins, then remove the SU-115 board.
