. [Head|cleaning]
: Cleans the thermal head as the procedure below using the cleaning cartridge sup-
plied with the unit.

When the printing image defects appear such as white stripe, blur, or scratch, the
cleaning of thermal head is required.
.
The following cleaning procedure is only for thermal head. In case of cleaning
also for thermal head and rollers, perform “1-10-1. Cleaning the interior”.
1. Remove the paper cassette assembly.
2. Check the printing paper is installed.
3. Open the ribbon door, then remove the ribbon cartridge.
4. Install the cleaning cartridge, then close the ribbon door.
5. Click
the
[Head|Cleaning]
button.
Cleaning is started.
6. After completed, open the ribbon door, then remove the cleaning cartridge.

The cleaning cartridge is reusable. Do not throw it away.

Observe the change of pins of each connector in oscilloscope or not.
