Chapter 8 SCSI Commands
The Send Action Code area specifies the function executed by this command.
Of the functions shown in the following table, only 5h (Translate - search
primary tags - ignore sequence numbers) is supported by the autoloader.
Table 8.20.2 : Send volume tag action codes
The Translate Operation requests a search for Elements having Volume Tag
information matching the template specified by the autoloader with this
command. The search results are returned by the REQUEST VOLUME
ELEMENT ADDRESS command.
The Element Address area specifies the first Element in the search.
The Volume Tag information of the search is defined as follows.

The Volume Identification Template Field specifies the search template of the
Translate function.
The search template in this field may include the '*' and '?' (2Ah and 3Fh)
wildcards. An asterisk matches any sequence of characters and the remainder of
the template is ignored. A question mark matches a single character.
The unnecessary information in the Volume identification template area is
replaced by zeros.
