Notes
• When SYNCHRO REC is enabled, all button
operations on the control panel except EJECT will be
disabled.
• As the time code is adjusted to that of the PMW-F3, the
“TCG MODE” and “REGEN SRC” settings of the TC
Setup menu are disabled when SYNCHRO REC is
enabled.
The “SDI Rec Control” setting in the VIDEO SET
menu of the PMW-F3 must be set to “Synchro Rec.”
For details, refer to the operating instructions of the
PMW-F3.
Set “Match Clip Name” in the VIDEO SET menu
of the PMW-F3 to “On.”
For details on this setting and other file name
settings, refer to the operating instructions of the
PMW-F3.
When “REC TRIGGER” on the SR-R1 is set to
“SYNCHRO REC” and HD SDI input data that
includes file name information is received, the
files recorded to the SRMemory card will be
renamed according to the received information
when recording to the SRMemory card is
complete.
You can view the file name that will result in the
file name indication of the HOME screen. When
the input data includes file name information, the
beginning of the file name indication will appear
“>”.
Note
Certain characters cannot be used in the file
name. Files names cannot be synchronized if the
file names configured on the PMW-F3 contain
the following.
• If a file name contains any of the following:
spaces " % ' * , / : < > ? \ |
• If a file name starts with any of the following:
$ - . ~
• If a file name ends with any of the following:
_R _L
You can use a LUT file to convert S-Log signals
from the PMW-F3 or signals for playback files
that were recorded using S-Log to enable output
via the HD SDI OUT (MON) connectors 1/2.
