control panel.
In such cases, do not connect any external device to the
REMOTE IN connector.

RMT [Remote]: Enables the unit to be operated from an

external device connected to the REMOTE IN
connector.
In this case, the recording and playback operation
buttons on the control panel and EJECT button of the
unit are in accordance with the KEY MAP settings.

Does not prohibit recording.
