Specifying a section on the recorder, and inserting at a specified
position on the recorder
To specify the section for a cut to insert at a specified position within the same
file on the recorder, use the following procedure.

Press the [ ] key, to select INSERT mode.

Select the recorder port.

Using the jog dial of the BVE-series editor, for example, search for the IN
point.

Holding down the SHIFT key on the MAVE-F555, press the MARK IN
key.
• This specifies the IN point for the source for the cut to be inserted.

As for the IN point, using the jog dial of the BVE-series editor, for
example, search for the OUT point.

Holding down the SHIFT key on the MAVE-F555, press the MARK OUT
key.
• This specifies the OUT point for the source for the cut to be inserted.

Now continue from step 8 of the procedure under "Specifying a section on
the player, and inserting at a specified position on the recorder" (page 3-16).
